Why did you start your business, or choose the position you are currently in?

We all have skills we take for granted, or we assume everyone else knows the same “stuff”.  When I realized business owners go into business to do what they love but don’t like the financial side of their business, I knew I could support them and bring real value to their business life.

You just won 10MM in the lottery. What would you do?

Call Jennifer Kauffman immediately to plan a trust for charities, buy an RV, and visit the national parks across our beautiful country

What is the most interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume?

I enjoy playing folk music and hymns on my autoharp.

Your Journey: How did you get to where you are?

Through decades of supporting business owners, CEOs, and VPs with the administration and financial side of their businesses, I decided to skip the commute and take the very best of what I’ve learned to build my own practice.

How would your best friend describe you?

My best friend wrote me a note at Christmas that said, “how deeply you think about everything from your work to the people in your life that you love.”  That sums it up.

Our preferred niche is to support mature, responsive, service-based entrepreneurs. The ones that understand the responsibility of treating their business like a business.

What inspires you?

Tenacity is my superpower, and when I see it in other people, I am drawn to and inspired by them.

What makes you laugh?

Laughter is my favorite emotion and I willingly receive it from all kinds of sources, such as funny pet videos on Facebook, snarky comments in the TV series Frasier, or movies like Money Pit, Office Space, and Steel Magnolias.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could take three items, what would they be?

Water, my Bible, and my autoharp.  That way I could enjoy reading and music.

Whats your definition of success?

Feeling appreciated by empowering clients to understand the financial side of their business.

Why is it important to you to be part of WOW?

Being self-employed is great but can be lonely. I feel energized when I socialize with like-minded women.

What do you want your legacy to be?

She was always trying something new to improve herself and her business.
