Why did you start your business, or choose the position you are currently in?

I found a way to get quick, healthy meals on my family table in between my busy schedule of kids’ sports and activities! I wanted to share that with other busy people so that they know there are healthy options that still save you time and money. I feel that if they are showing their kids how to eat healthy, it will carry over to the next generation making healthy choices.

You just won 10MM in the lottery. What would you do?

I would give a contribution to our church that is breaking ground in Denver after putting away for the kids’ college fund.

What is the most interesting thing about you that we wouldn’t learn from your resume?

I’ve been cliff jumping in Jamaica, hot air ballooning in New England in the fall, and rock climbing in Joshua Tree.

Your Journey: How did you get to where you are?

I moved here from Boston 12 years ago, leaving my Marketing Director position to be a stay-at-home mom to my 9-month-old and 3-year-old children. When my youngest went to kindergarten, I started putting my resume together, and I was introduced to a direct sales food company that helps with meal planning healthy meals. I have always been very conscious of what I feed my family, and it was a perfect fit! I’m now with a new company that offers both food and kitchen tools that together create the magic of “Raw to ready in 20 minutes”!

WOW MEMBERS LOVE TO GIVE REFERRALS; WHO IS A GOOD REFERRAL FOR YOU?

Anyone that eats!

How would your best friend describe you?

Loyal, Dependable, Fun

What inspires you?

When clients share their stories of how their kids are eating healthier foods, or that their spouse’s health has improved from eating the delicious, healthy meals I helped them with when someone shares with me that they are making healthier choices or they have helped a family member who has dietary restrictions. On an everyday basis, I am inspired by a clean desk, podcasts, and a sunny day!

What makes you laugh?

My kids–especially when they cannot see the humor in what I am laughing at; it makes me laugh harder, which makes them more puzzled. It’s a vicious circle that lets me get a really great laugh that you only get once in awhile, even if it is at their expense.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could take three items, what would they be?

Lip Gloss, water and a sweater:)

What’s your definition of success?

A continuous aspiration to be my best self and to create memorable experiences for my family.

Why is it important to you to be part of WOW?

It inspires me to be part of a group of women that lift each other up, are part of a community, and continuously have helpful practical tips for business success.

What do you want your legacy to be?

I would like to make a difference in busy mom’s lives so that they make healthy choices for their family meals, which in turn teaches their children to make healthy choices in the future.
